Modifications
Only modification was to shorten the length of the dress as I only had 2 meters (just over 2 yards) of fabric on hand. I kept the top portion of the pattern the same to maintain the waist placement and then used the remainder of the fabric for the skirt. It hits just a bit below my knee and I am 5’2”.
Notes
Overall a really great, no waste pattern! Love that there are no pattern pieces to print and cut. Will certainly be making this again with different sleeve and length variations. The only part where I had trouble was the pockets, but figured it out eventually through watching the tutorial above. This pattern also forced me to conquer the automatic button hole setting on my machine, so a definite win!
Update
I made this pattern in summer of 2021 and it gets weekly wear in the warm months. A tried and true pattern for sure.
