This dress pattern is so unique! I made a mistake in my ordering (shirt vs dress pattern) and matchy-matchy got back to me immediately and helped me correct it. Amazing customer service!
I would note that if you’re planning to turn a fabric sideways for the side panels to have some pattern variation, be very aware of the drape of that particular fabric. I attempted first this dress with the ikat running horizontally on the sides and it was a mess- it ballooned out and looked pretty round. I picked it out and replaced with some midweight linen (cut on grain, as directed!) and it has perfect better drape now. I will be making a solid dress next!

Super Quick Sew!

I love this pattern! It sewed up in a day. The directions were very clear, quite a bit clearer than some of the independent patterns I’ve used recently. I’ve worn the dress twice and received compliments both times. I’m planning on making at least one more. My only suggestion would to include the longer sleeve that the top has. I probably would have purchased the top pattern and made it dress length. I should have paid closer attention. I highly recommend this pattern. Even though it is a great beginner project, I feel like an advanced sewist would still enjoy making this dress.

Love this pattern

I've made two so far. The first I made according to the pattern, the second I lowered the front neckline. It's well drafted, the instructions are good, and it comes together quickly. I have two more cut out ready to go!
I wasn't sure if I'd need to size up a little because I measured a size bigger in the hips but there's plenty of ease.

Came out smaller then stated

I spent a lot of time putting care into making my Matchy Matchy top. I was disappointed that it was a bit too snug and I did not like how low the front top piece was.I was so excited to make this.
