Hello! We are Amy (right) and Theresa (left) and we started Matchy Matchy Sewing Club in summer of 2021 as a place where we could share our makes with each other. This little pandemic project of ours has since evolved to include our own sewing patterns, specialty fabrics and custom made garments.
Building community is one of our core goals, it's in our name - Matchy Matchy Sewing Club! The sewing community is one of the most encouragingly pure corners on the internet.

I'll go first - My mom taught me to sew in middle school. I made a skirt (with a zipper) from fabric with cowboys all over it 🫠. Over the years I would make things here and there if the feeling struck. Then the events of 2020 descended upon us all (hi global pandemic upending all and any sense of normalcy). I needed a creative outlet and here we are!
