Why You’ll Love the Colorblock Set
This pattern takes the classic Craft Studio Tee you already love and gives it a fresh, modern twist with a checkerboard-inspired design. The result? A relaxed fit and clean finish that feels just as good to sew as it does to wear.
- Beginner-friendly (no overwhelm here!)
- A wide, boxy fit that’s easy to style
- Fun, creative opportunities for mixing colors and fabrics
Three Views = Endless Possibilities
You get three ways to play with just one simple pattern piece:
View A – Cropped Tee
Four bold blocks create a graphic, colorblocked top

View B – Gathered Peplum Top
A sweet, simple peplum for a feminine touch
View C – Mini Dress
Make an instant summer statement with this easy dress
Fabric Inspiration: Summer Cloud Linen
This design really comes alive when you start playing with fabric. We especially love it in our new Summer Cloud Linen colors – soft, airy linen in a rainbow of shades! Perfect for mixing and matching.

Other great options:
- Scraps from your stash
- Contrasting prints
- Classic solids
Simple Construction – Made for Joy
There’s no complicated pattern drafting here. All three views share just one simple pattern piece. After that, it’s simply measure, cut, and sew. Quick, creative, and oh-so-satisfying.

Hi I downloaded the colour block set but I don’t seem to have any instructions with it and I can’t work out how the paper pattern fits together. I’m completely stuck and baffled at how the pages align . Can you send me the instructions or an image of the paper layout ? Much appreciated. I can’t wait to try it. Rita
