View A (Gown) features a full gathered skirt, generous inseam pockets, and your choice of a high or lowered waistline. Add the optional back ties for a little extra shape, or leave them off for an easy, flowing fit. View B (Blouse) brings all the charm of the gown into a fun, peplum silhouette. Pair it with your favorite jeans, shorts, or skirts for an everyday look, or dress it up when the occasion calls.
Intended Fit
The Venice Villa Dress is designed with a relaxed, flowing fit that feels easy to wear, never restrictive. The bodice has no darts or shaping through the bust or cups, with approximately 2-3" of ease at the chest for a comfortable, effortless fit. Size up for a more generous fit or size down for a fitted garment.
Bodice Options
The Venice Villa Dress includes both a high and dropped bodice option so you can choose the fit that works best for you! The dropped bodice provides extra room through the bust, allowing the gathered seam to sit lower without riding up. It's a great option for those with a fuller bust or anyone who prefers a little extra room through the chest. The dropped bodice sits approximately 1" lower than the high bodice.
Pattern Options
SKIRT • Add or subtract width to the skirt and the skirt facing equally to increase or reduce skirt fullness. Depending on the fabric selection a fuller or more narrow skirt can change the entire look of the gown!
PEPLUM • Add or subtract height to the skirt or peplum to increase or reduce the length of your top.
BACK TIES • Add the optional back ties to gently bring in the waist for a little extra shape, or leave them off for an easy, breezy silhouette.
