I love these shorts, I’ve only been sewing for year and this was my first go at shorts and it couldn’t have been easier. The mix and match potential of the base and ruffle and pockets and waistband is also fantastic.
Ruffles make everything cuter.
So many looks can be achieved from this. I haven’t tried the pants of this yet, but I will be.

I wore them immediately after making them and got so many compliments! They really are aesthetically so cool.
The sizing is a little big. I’m between sizes (10-12, sometimes 14) and even with the oversized look, they were a bit too much fabric. I’m leaning in and added them to my weekend lineup. Also looking for inspiration on what kind of tops to wear with them!
