Fun easy to make pants

A quick and easy sew and I really like them in the end but on first finish they had a weird inward lift and poke out at the inner ankle. You can see it in most pictures on the Matchy Matchy pattern site. A quick fix was to undo both front and back knee darts and create a fold in the fabric all around the outer leg between them. Magic - legs hang straight at the ankle and a nice double stitched fold detail. Luckily I didn’t need to unpick anything other than the darts. It’s like the pattern drafting did not compensate on the outer leg for the lift created by the dart on the inner leg.

Easy and fun but crotch too low

I really liked making these pants. As a beginning sewist the instructions are simple and clear. For my body the crotch ended up being very low. I’m not sure how to adjust them.

Totally in love with my new Archer work pants - with Sashiko style patches

I really love this pattern - easy to make and with great details. I added my own Sashiko style patches to the pants along the way and they have become my new favorites! Have to make more

Great pattern

This is a great pattern. I made a medium pair in linen as per my measurements, they’re perfect and roomy. I’m now trying a pair in light canvas. Thumbs up!
