The Bow Boxer Shorts are a fast, easy and fun sew. A perfect make for cool girls in hot weather. These basic, breezy shorts are inspired by traditional boxers with a straight fit. The pattern includes two views, mid rise and high rise, both with a 3" (8 cm) and 5" (13 cm) inseam. Finished with small side slits and sweet bows, these comfortable elastic waist shorts are sure to keep you feeling cool and relaxed in and out of the house.

Boxer shorts

Very easy to follow and read instructions. Bit fiddly to join the pattern. The front pieces could have been made narrower as there was too much fabric gathering at the front which wasn’t very flattering which needed some alterations. Would be better to combine sizes of back and front however they wouldn’t match up perfectly. Otherwise really enjoyed using the pattern and made a couple of shorts which I love!

10/10 cutest shorts pattern EVER! 🎀

The instructions were SO EASY to follow. Literally the easiest pair of shorts ever. And they are also the cutest. I’m starting my 4th pair tomorrow! I love them. And I’ve gotten so many compliments on them. Thank you! 🙏

Disappointed

I am going to have to download the pattern again and reprint, as my copy of the high rise largest size shorts was missing 2 pieces; hopefully they will show up this time. I did contact the company, who said they would get back to me, but never did. I will write another review if I can get the pattern to work.

So much fun to make!

I’ve been living in boxer shorts all summer and fell in love with these ones before the pattern was even released! The instructions were beautiful and so easy to read. You can tell so much time and effort was put into making this pattern! The fabric I used is also from matchy matchy sewing club!
