The Bow Boxer Shorts are a fast, easy and fun sew. A perfect make for cool girls in hot weather. These basic, breezy shorts are inspired by traditional boxers with a straight fit. The pattern includes two views, mid rise and high rise, both with a 3" (8 cm) and 5" (13 cm) inseam. Finished with small side slits and sweet bows, these comfortable elastic waist shorts are sure to keep you feeling cool and relaxed in and out of the house.

Fantastic

So I'm not completely new to sewing, but still relatively new and I found the pattern so so easy to make. The fit was great and if you're someone with a smaller waist and thick thighs, the shorts fit amazingly. The little bows give it a cute elevation and I've decided that I'm going to make 3 more pairs for summer. Sewing in the elastic was a great idea because no one loves when the elastic turns around in the waistband. Fantastic pattern!!

Boxer shorts

Very easy to follow and read instructions. Bit fiddly to join the pattern. The front pieces could have been made narrower as there was too much fabric gathering at the front which wasn’t very flattering which needed some alterations. Would be better to combine sizes of back and front however they wouldn’t match up perfectly. Otherwise really enjoyed using the pattern and made a couple of shorts which I love!

The instructions were SO EASY to follow. Literally the easiest pair of shorts ever. And they are also the cutest. I’m starting my 4th pair tomorrow! I love them. And I’ve gotten so many compliments on them. Thank you! 🙏
