From time to time our fabric arrives to us with small flaws that we consider imperfect. This batch of Our best-selling Black Polka Dot Block Print Cotton has some small, faint ink mark that appears approximately every 1–2 yards. The size of the mark varies from piece to piece, but in most cases it can easily be worked around during cutting or incorporated into your project. Some yardage may not contain marks at all.

Like all hand block printed fabrics, each yard is printed by skilled artisans, giving every cut its own unique character. These imperfections go beyond the natural variations of handmade printing.

Soft, airy, and wonderfully easy to sew, this 100% cotton has a beautiful drape that's perfect for dresses, blouses, skirts, pajamas, and lightweight summer garments. It's one of our favorite beginner-friendly fabrics and remains just as lovely to work with.

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colors. Use mild detergent. Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Expect gentle fading over time, which enhances the natural beauty and character of the print.

We do our best to represent the color accurately, but due to the handmade nature of block printing, subtle variations and gentle shifts in color throughout the yardage are part of the artisan process and make each piece uniquely special. While overall color is very close, slight differences may occur from cut to cut and across screens.
