All Around Crew + Expansion PDF Sewing Pattern

The All Around Crew is designed with comfort in mind and includes two views. View A is cropped and hits at the natural waistline. View B is tunic length and hits below the hips. Both views have a wide, relaxed fit with dropped shoulders and a gently curved back hemline. The boxy style sleeves are meant to be worn cuffed for a casual look. If you have never sewn with knit fabric before this is a great, simple pattern to start with!
The All Around Crew Expansion includes a slimmer sleeve, cuffs at the wrist and a bottom hem band.
Chelsea (short hair) is 5'5" and Morgan is 5'9"

Sewing with knits for beginners
If the thought of sewing a T-Shirt or sweatshirt is a little intimidating - don't let the idea of sewing with knits deter you from giving it a try. Sewing with a knit fabric is not much different than sewing with a woven fabric.
Do I Need a Serger?
The simple answer is no you do not. You can basically sew anything you want without having a serger, knits included. So the better question is -Should I get a Serger? And my answer to that is - Heck Ya!

This was my first knits pattern and it was such a great one! The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I have worn my sweatshirt probably 5 times since making it last week and can't wait to wear it again soon. I made version A and lengthened it just a bit. Then made version B for a girlfriend. I can't wait to make it again!
I was waiting with bated breath for this pattern to come out and it didn't disappoint. I made it in green brushed sweatshirting with matching ribbing and it came together perfectly. I made View B and it's lovely and loose and comfy without drowning me, but I'll probably do an A at some point too, maybe in a woven. The instructions were very clear and it's a super-quick make, stylish and flattering. I'll definitely be making more of these!
