The Horizon Day Dress is a casual, easy fitting dress. It features a relaxed style drop shoulder with 3/4 length sleeves which can be worn down or cuffed. The curved bodice sits above the natural waistline, adding interest and shape to the oversized silhouette for a flattering drape. The pattern features two views, both with inseam pockets and adjustable skirt lengths marked directly on the pattern — from above the knee to mid shin. View A has a full skirt while view B includes a fun patchwork style skirt. This pattern is intentionally designed with simple shapes, making it a fast and fun project to sew.

Chelsea (short hair) is 5'5" and Morgan is 5'9"

I love this pattern and thank you for putting it on sale. However, I wish the Horizon came as a paper pattern. The PDF is a total hassle and the amount of money saved is’t worth the grief!

Loving this design

Another great pattern from MMSC! I love the patchwork element and the artisan look. I've not made this one up yet but if it's as good as the other three patterns I own it'll be great.

Horizon Day Dress

I made View A and cut my two skirt pieces instead of printing. I. Love. It.

I lengthened the bodice 1" and used the width of fabric for my skirt pieces instead of the 40" suggested.

Even though the assembly of the pattern was a little different than what I'm used to I found it easy to follow to a great result. The add-on sleeves and their hem tip are excellent!

I asked questions and got quick, friendly, and professional answers. Next time I will make the patched skirt.

Love the pattern. Printed it off. As yet to assemble it.

Love this dress

I am an experienced quilter and bag maker, but a novice garment maker. I am enjoying making this pattern! The directions are very clear and simple to follow. I have made View A in a solid color, and now I'm working on a patchy View B. Yay!
