The Horizon Day Dress is a casual, easy fitting dress. It features a relaxed style drop shoulder with 3/4 length sleeves which can be worn down or cuffed. The curved bodice sits above the natural waistline, adding interest and shape to the oversized silhouette for a flattering drape. The pattern features two views, both with inseam pockets and adjustable skirt lengths marked directly on the pattern — from above the knee to mid shin. View A has a full skirt while view B includes a fun patchwork style skirt. This pattern is intentionally designed with simple shapes, making it a fast and fun project to sew.

Chelsea (short hair) is 5'5" and Morgan is 5'9"

Great dress!

My friend keeps telling me this dress "looks expensive" ha. I made a Large first and it was very oversized so sized down on my second try and I think I like that fit better -- still oversized but not like falling off my body oversized. I think I will make 10 more versions of this before I am done!

exactly what I wanted

Perfect airy smock dress. Made my first with one fabric, but really excited to try a patchwork option next! I subbed out the bias binding for self drafted facings and still looked great!

Although I am a quilter I have never had any success sewing clothes - until this frock! It took me a couple
of days but I did it, it fits and I love it!!!

Beautiful and comfy dress

Easy to understand and follow instructions. Learned a lot in the making process. Love my new dress and will use the pattern again. Next time I would maybe make the top a bit longer because it cuts a bit too high in the breast.
