They are really nice, easy and fairly quick to make. However the sizing is all over the place. I made the small using the waist measurement as a guide. They were huge and I needed to size down twice to get a normal fit. I’m a 10 normally. The finish is nice with the top stitching and the pockets.
Nicely written pattern
I sewed these up the day before my holiday. From cutting out the fabric to finishing the shorts was only just over an hour and a half. I left off the back pockets as I won't use them and it made it quicker. Great instructions and easily patchworked from leftover fabrics. The finished shorts were huge on me though (I made one of the curvier sizes). The legs were particularly baggy. I've given this pair away to my daughter who thinks they're fun, but I'll try again to sew another smaller pair for me and take time to fit them better.
Love this pattern. Been wearing the first pair I sew almost every day since, so now I made a second one. This is a good beginners pattern. The shorts are pretty adm comfy :)
I absolutely love these. My second make ever and they are such a great shape. Like a little gathered skirt mixed with Australian posties shorts. But with tonnes of pockets! Next time I’ll put a belt through the waistband so I don’t get accidentally debagged at work
