beautiful versatile pattern

A lovely pattern with a historical vintage feel. Very simple to put together and beautiful instructions. I wasn't confused at all. Only made 1 view (too obsessed with it to sew the others) easier sewing with cotton but have sewn with wool fabric with more body. Both doable but takes more handling with the ruffles in a thicker fabric.

Cute!

A really cute little top that comes together quickly. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. I made view c and I am really pleased with the end results.

So fun to sew and wear

I made the long version of the champagne field dress out of the larger scuba check that Matchy Matchy also sells. I cut the bodice on the bias and lined the bodice with pieces cut on the straight grain. I opted for the bell sleeve and took a 1 1/4 inch tuck up from the cut edge in the center for 2.5 inches so it would be stitched to past the hem stitching. Also, I am 5'6" and added one inch to the skirt length and 1.5 to the ruffle. Since I was able to cut the ruffle on the cross grain next to the bodices cut on the fold, I left it unhemed for the slight fringe effect of the selvedge. Love this pattern and how clear the instructions are!

Champagne dress

Nice pattern but it would be nice to explain that for the home printing (A4) it's almost 80 pages!

Incredible patterns!

This is my second pattern from Matchy Matchy Sewing Club, and I have loved both of them! Their patterns are so clear and help me feel empowered as a beginning sewist. I even made some fun variations to the front and back bodice panels! Highly recommend these patterns.
